Following its debut at the Paris motor show last month, Peugeot has announced that the 508 SW will be available in First Edition guise, ahead of the regular range arriving in showrooms. Available to order now at £40,939, the First Edition is powered by the 174bhp 2.0-litre BlueHDi 180 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This newcomer represents a £3,500 price premium over the similarly named fastback edition, with First Edition customers receiving exclusive Focal Premium headphones designed by the Pugeot Design Lab team. Two colours are on offer: Twilight Blue and Amazonite Grey.
A gloss black grille is standard, as are 19-inch Augusta diamond cut two-tone alloy wheels. There’s also blue ambient mood lighting, aluminium pedals and door sills bearing the First Edition name. Moving to the loadbay, the boot floor is lined with a special Zebrano wood finish, together with anti-slip bars. The First Edition car also features Nappa leather, night vision, inductive smartphone charging, DAB radio, a 10-inch touchscreen with navigation system, uprated Focal audio system and voice recognition. The limited-run 508 SW First Edition is available to order now at Peugeot dealers.
