New 2019 VW T-Cross production. The new T-Cross compact SUV will be manufactured at Volkswagen Navarra, the Spanish plant which has produced various generations of the Polo since 1984.
The new T-Cross will share its MQB matrix with the latest Polo, thus achieving major efficiency advantages, with the additional production rising from 244,000 (2017) to around 350,000 units per year, depending on demand, and the work-force increasing by approximately 10 per cent.
