Southern Rail upgrades station car park charge points

At each of the 23 station car parks across its network, Southern Rail has employed the services of PodPoint to upgrade and install 48 7kW Open Charge points.

The charge points are free to use (subject to usual parking restrictions and fees) and do not require a membership or RFID card to activate, the company said. Each post has twinsockets allowing for two vehicles to be charged simultaneously.

The charge points are located in car parks at the following stations; Arundel, Ashtead, Barnham, Brighton, Chichester, Crawley, Coulsdon South, Crowborough, Dorking, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Ham Street, Hassocks, Horsham, Hove, Norbury, Sutton, Lingfield, Purley, Redhill, South Croydon, Streatham and Whyteleafe.
