“She’s gorgeous, absolutely beautiful. It’s a proper long-legged car,” says Lisa of the M6. Steve adds that they’d known the M6 for a while. It had belonged to his boss, who decided to move it on. “I couldn’t resist,” he confesses. “It’s a great touring car.
One of those cars you can get in and it’s good on the freeway, but when you’re on the backroads it can do what you want it to. It works at both ends of the spectrum.”

The pair got inspired by our preview of the annual Tas Targa Classic Rallye – with a similar early shark snout six series – and decided to give the event a go. By day two they were committed to coming back in 2019. As for the M6, “We’d have another any day,” says Lisa.
