A shake-up of the S-MAX and Galaxy ranges has seen four new powerplants join the lineup. 2.0-litre EcoBlue powertrains developing 118, 148 or 188bhp and a twin-turbocharged engine that produces 237bhp join the range, with all of the engines Euro-6d Temp compliant, and the 188 and 237bhp iterations are more powerful than their predecessors.
Costing between £1,135 and £2,235 more than before, the S-MAX range kicks off with the Zetec 2.0 EcoBlue 118bhp version at £29,145 (previously £27,290), while the top-of-the-range Vignale 2.0 EcoBlue 237bhp edition costs £40,195 (up from £37,960). In the Galaxy range, the Zetec 2.0 EcoBlue 118bhp model is priced at £31,295 (before it was £29,690), with the Titanium X 2.0 EcoBlue 237bhp model priced at £40,545 (previously £38,310). The new diesel engines come equipped with selective catalytic reduction and are available now.
