The facelifted Edge arrives in Ford showrooms in January 2019, with prices starting at £36,995 for the Titanium 2.0 EcoBlue with 148bhp engine and two-wheel-drive. The uprated 235bhp ST-Line model features four-wheel-drive and costs £42,995, while the flagship Vignale is priced at £45,995. All three iterations are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The eagle-eyed will notice the revised front and rear styling, while on the inside there’s a new rotary dial instead of a traditional gear lever, digital instruments and wireless charging for smartphones. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane keeping assist are optionally available for the first time, and a 1,000- watt B&O Play audio system is standard on ST-Line and Vignale models.
