The Two-Point-Six replaced the Riley Pathfinder as Riley's top-line automobile when it was announced on 23 August 1957. While its predecessor retained the renowned Riley 4 cylinder twin cam, cross flow engine, Riley suspension and gearbox with its almost unique right hand gear lever, the Two-Point-Six was virtually identical to the Wolseley Six-Ninety Series III. It featured both monotone and duotone paintwork, as did the last of the Pathfinders.

Externally the most obvious differences from the Pathfinder were the bonnet arrangement – while the Pathfinder's grille lifted with the bonnet, the Two-Point-Six, in common with the 6/90, had a fixed grille – and the wheel arches having a raised edge.

It used the BMC C-Series straight-6, an engine that produced 101 hp (75 kW). This was actually less than the 2½ Litre Riley "Big Four" straight-4 engine it replaced. The Two-Point-Six was a commercial failure and was withdrawn from the market in May 1959, the last large Riley.

Engine:

2.6 L (2639 cc) C-Series straight-6, 97 hp (72 kW)

De-Tomaso-Deauville 1971-1985 The De Tomaso Deauville was a large four-door sedan first exhibited at Turin Motor Show 1970. The car was powered by the same 351 in³ (5763 cc) Ford Cleveland V8 as the De Tomaso Pantera, rated at 300 hp. The car had a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph) and featured styling similar to that of the Jaguar XJ.

The Deauville had an independent rear suspension very similar to that used by Jaguar, and ventilated discs in all four wheels. It shares its chassis with the Maserati Quattroporte III.

A total of 244[1] Deauvilles were produced.[3] There were three Deauville variants: the early series 1 (1970-1974: serial number 10##, 11## and 12##), late series 1 (1975-1977: serial numbers 14##) and the series 2 (1978-1985: serial numbers 20## and 21##).

One Deauville station wagon was made for Mr. De Tomaso's wife.[1] There were also two armoured Deauvilles produced, one for the Belgian Royal Family and the other for the Italian government. The latter is on display in the Museo delle Auto della Polizia di Stato in Rome.

2013-2018

The BMW 4 Series (F32) is a compact executive coupé manufactured by the German automaker BMW. First official details of the 4 Concept 4 Series were released to the public by an official press release on 5 December 2012, detailing the intention to replace the current 3 Series coupé with a new 4 series line to further differentiate the more sporty coupé. This move mirrored the strategy of arch rival Audi, who spun off the coupé and convertible versions of the A4 into the separate A5 nameplate some years earlier.

The BMW 4 Series is also available in a retractable hard-top convertible form (F33) and in the Gran Coupe body style (F36) since the 2014 model year.

The 4 Series Coupe shares all technical features with F30 3 Series. The interior is almost the same as in the 3 Series except for the 2+2 seating configuration, and the exterior also shares the overall styling of the 3 Series. Its wheelbase is 110.6 inches, two inches longer than the 3 Series coupe and identical to the 3-series sedan. BMW has increased the front track by 1.8 inches, for 60.8 inches, and 3.1 inches to the rear, for 62.7. Its overall width is 71.9 inches, 1.7 inches wider than the 3 Coupe, and 0.6 inches lower, at 53.6. Overall length is 182.7 inches. The BMW 4 Series made its debut in Detroit, United States at the North American International Auto Show in January 2013
