The facelifted C-Class will arrive in UK showrooms in July, with prices just revealed by Mercedes-Benz. As before, the 3-Series rival will be available in saloon, estate, coupé and convertible bodystyles, with the price starting at £35,690 for the diesel editions. For now, there’s a single 192bhp C 220 d engine available, powered by the brand new OM654 powerplant, and 295lb ft of torque, with further powerplants set to become available later. Offered in a choice of SE, Sport and AMG Line trim levels on saloon and estate editions, CO2 emissions are as low as 117g/km, and come equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Coupé and cabriolet versions of the C-Class are sold exclusively in AMG Line specification.
SE versions come with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch infotainment display, a navigation system, DAB radio, reversing camera, cruise control and a collision prevention assist plus system, while Sport models add LED headlights, lowered comfort suspension by 15mm and Artico faux-leather upholstery. The top-of-the-range AMG Line versions include 18-inch alloy wheels, a sports body kit, sports suspension and perforated front brake discs. A 12.3-inch uprated digital cockpit display is now available as an option on all versions.
