A new book called Il Fascino Ferrari has been launched that costs up to £22,500. Published by Taschen Books and edited by Pino Allievi, within its 480 pages are hundreds of never before- seen photographs and documents from Ferrari’s archives and private collections.
Two editions are on offer, with a limit of 1947 numbered copies. The red leather-bound Collector’s Edition will be limited to 1696 copies, costing 5000 euros, or £4500. It comes in an aluminium display case designed by Marc Newson to resemble Ferrari V12 valve covers.
The Art Edition, priced at £22,500, is even more limited at 250 copies, and comes with a chromed-steel sculpture of a V12 engine on which the book can be displayed. The book is signed by Piero Ferrari, Sergio Marchionne and John Elkann.
