Nissan GT-R by Italdesign While discussing famous Italian stylists, we noted that Nissan had a rather special version of its highly successful GT-R at this year’s Festival of Speed at Goodwood. The Nissan GT-R50 is presently a prototype but could well become a limited edition run of models if enough people decide they would want one. The price has been estimated at €900,000.
The vehicle has been designed to celebrate the 50th anniversaries of the GT-R (in 2019) and Italdesign (in 2018). As you would expect, the overall look of the Nissan has been changed, giving it a more brutal and aggressive stance, but it doesn’t just end in the looks. Taking experience from Nissan’s GT3 racing team, NISMO has breathed on the 3.8-litre V6 engine and it now boasts over 710bhp and some thumping 780Nm of torque. Nissan is looking at making 50 of these GT-R50 by Italdesign models.
