When the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz X-Class was revealed last year, the product planners said there would be a V6-engined version to crown the line-up, and it’s now available to buy. Priced at £46,020, including VAT, the X 350 d 4Matic Power model will arrive in showrooms in November.

Featuring the double cab body and paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission, the X 350 d features a choice of three all-wheel-drive modes. The powerplant develops 255bhp and 406lb ft of torque, with CO2 emissions of 236g/km and fuel economy of 31.4mpg on the combined cycle.
