Remarkably, just last month, the minds at NASCAR revealed that they are going to make that dream a reality for one lucky fan. The motorsport organization confirmed on its website that it is set to give away one of the sport’s most impressive vehicles as part of a very special fundraising campaign, developed to support the NASCAR Foundation. This is especially exciting news for avid fans of motorsport, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for followers of NASCAR.
An exciting competition
Under the terms of the initiative, NASCAR is set to enter any fans who make a minimum $25 donation to the NASCAR Foundation across the coming months, into a prize draw to win a special 2019 Championship Edition of the 2020 Toyota Camry TDR.
The campaign is set to run until just before the Coke Zero Sugar 400 weekend at Daytona at the end of August, when five finalists will be selected to attend the race and find out if they are the lucky winners. As SBO.net outlines in its guide to the NASCAR season betting sites, Coke Zero, along with the Indy 500 and Daytona 500, is one of the most heavily attended races of the season and is a key date in the sport’s calendar.
The Toyota Camry is, of course, the model which was driven by Kyle Busch during his incredible 2019 season in NASCAR. As Toyota.com explains, the Las Vegas-born driver not only secured his 200th national series win during this period, but he also went on to win his second NASCAR Cup Series championship too. The 2019 Championship Edition of the model is packed with some incredible features, including a 301 horsepower D-4S V6 engine. According to RobertsToyota.com, such specifications mean the 2020 Camry TRD is capable of reaching a top speed of around 135mph, while the vehicle can even hit 60mph in less than six seconds.
It also features 19-inch TRD matte black alloy wheels, as well as TRD piano-black front splitters, aero side skirts, and a rear diffuser featuring red pinstriping. Furthermore, a TRD piano-black rear spoiler is included, while the car also has track-tuned suspension and a cat-back dual exhaust with polished stainless steel tips.
As well as offering some fine technological features, the model on offer in the NASCAR competition also boasts some impressive interior and exterior flourishes too.
